Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Set to Light Up Sandown for Round 4

The stage is set for an electrifying Round 4 of the 2025 Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, with a full field of Australia’s most exciting miniature touring cars ready to do battle at Melbourne’s iconic Sandown International Raceway.

A bumper 23-car entry list confirms participation from a wide cross-section of competitors, including front-runners in the Championship, Rookies, Masters Cup and Gold Cup classes.

Championship leader Joel Heinrich (Osborn's Transport) arrives at Sandown with a narrow 2-point margin at the top of the table on 150 points, closely pursued by Kody Garland (Kody Garland Racing / MTA NSW) on 148 and Mason Harvey (Corish Motorsports / Tribridge) on 142. The tight standings promise intense racing as the trio fights for supremacy in the title race.

The highly competitive Gold Cup sees Scott Dornan (Action Line Marking) in control with 70 points, while Jeff Watters and Joseph Andriske round out the podium spots with 46 and 41 points respectively.

In the Masters Cup, Cody McKay holds the top position on 56 points, ahead of Shane Mann and Brett Osborn, separated by just a single point.

The Rookie Standings continue to impress, led by Caleb Paterson (Norganic Proteins Australia) on 66 points. He’ll be looking to extend his lead over Kyle Lovering and Andrew Hamilton this weekend, with several other first-year drivers also lining up, including Oscar Pederson, Nathan Barber, Diesel Thomas, and Hayden Nissen.

Drivers from every corner of the country will contest this weekend’s round, with representation from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia.

Fan favourites such as Reece Chapman, Ryan Reynolds, Brandon Madden, and Andrew Corish return alongside consistent contenders like Nathan Williams and Jack Boyd. The growing field of rookies and masters competitors adds further depth to the grid, setting up a dynamic weekend of wheel-to-wheel action.

Don’t Miss the Action: Round 4 at Sandown promises high-speed thrills, door-to-door racing, and a fierce battle for championship honours. With the season reaching its halfway point, every race, every point, and every pass could define the outcome of the 2025 title chase.
