The Grand Final of the Aussie Racing Super series has been run and won at Homebush supporting the V8 Supercars. It was a culmination of a fantastic year of action that recorded the highest entry levels for a National Series ever in Australian Motorsport. The huge success of the category over the last 15 years has taken another leap forward since it was purchased 2 seasons ago by Tony Quinn of VIP Petfoods and more recently of Darrel Lea fame from category creator Phil Ward. This new ownership coupled with slick and passionate management of the category has seen the entry levels continually grow to eclipse all previous Australian Motorsport records across the nation.

Congratulations Phil Wilkinson and Ian Mayberry.

The Aussie Racing Car category is widely regarded as the most successful, the highest profile and the  largest fields of any National Support category competing across Australia on the V8 Supercar stage. One of the reasons for its success is the dedication and service of 2 prime officials who administer the rules and regulations at each event and have done for more than 15 years since the inception of the Category.
