Aussie Racing Cars make international debut at ENZED Highlands Festival of Speed

Frequently voted the most entertaining support category at Australian V8 Supercar events, the Aussie Racing Cars (ARC) class makes its international debut at New Zealand’s Highlands Motorsport Park later this month.

The Highlands Festival of Speed connected by ENZED takes place over the weekend of 30 January to 1 February and the speedy, half-size ARC pocket rockets will be a key on-track attraction during the festival.

The Northern Territory Chief Minister, Adam Giles has today announced that Australia’s largest race category, the Aussie Racing Cars (ARC) will head to Darwin in June 2015 for the V8 Supercars Event.

Darren Chamberlin has won the 2014 Aussie Racing Cars Championship at Phillip Island at the weekend.
It was an epic final round for Australia’s Largest Race Category and as has been the norm for ARC competitions, final determination of the winner went down to the final race of the final round of the season with Sydney driver Darren Chamberlin finishing 6th in the final race of the year giving him enough points to take the top spot from opponents Brendon Pingel (2nd) and Peter Carr (3rd).
