Gold Coast 500 Added to 2025 Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Championship Calendar

The 2025 Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Series calendar just got even bigger, with the addition of one of the most iconic events on the Australian motorsport calendar — the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

Set to take place in October on the world-famous Surfers Paradise Street Circuit, the Gold Coast 500 will once again welcome the thunderous pack of 40 Aussie Racing Cars, returning to a venue that has long been a favourite for the category and its fans.

“This is a fantastic addition to what is already a blockbuster calendar of high-profile events,” said Darren Allan, General Manager of Aussie Racing Cars. “The Gold Coast 500 is a marquee event for Australian motorsport, and we can’t wait to see 40 pocket rockets blasting around the streets of Surfers Paradise. The fans are going to love it.”

The inclusion comes after Aussie Racing Cars (ARC) received a late and special invitation from the Supercars executive to join the Gold Coast 500 program — an opportunity the category jumped at. As a result, the previously scheduled One Raceway round will be replaced by the Gold Coast 500.

The Gold Coast is an absolute favourite of our drivers and teams — thanks to its high-speed, technical layout, electric atmosphere, and huge crowds — making this return a highly anticipated highlight of the 2025 season.

This exciting update further strengthens a championship already packed with major Supercars support events and national racing festivals, reinforcing ARC’s reputation as one of the most entertaining and accessible categories in Australian motorsport.
