For Immediate Release

Western Sydney Motorsport is delighted to announce we have signed an agreement with the Millennium Building Group to partner and Support the 2016 year of our #68 car driven by Blake Sciberras.

Craig Thompson team principal of Western Sydney Motorsport had this to say on Saturday, “We have dedicated our full race car and Blake Sciberras as the driver for the partnership with Millennium, Millennium are a fantastic fit for our Motor racing operation, the one key point that was clear from the outset when we first sat down with Millennium was the shared view of creating opportunity. They made it very clear to us from the outset that they wanted to support the development of a young upcoming driver. Blake understands the importance and is very excited for the opportunity the people of Millennium Building Group have representing to him for the 2016 year.”

Blake who is a two time national karting champion made his debut into the series midway through 2015 and finished the year extremely strong setting a race lap record at the final round event.

“I am very honoured to have a company like Millennium give me an opportunity to race full time this year. I am confident with these cars now and I believe I showed at the Homebush event that I can run with the front guys, I plan to park the Millennium car consistently at the front of the field through 2016 and repay the faith they have shown in me” said Sciberras.

The Millennium Building Group had this to say; “We are extremely excited with the new partnership with Western Sydney Motorsport and driver of the #68 car Blake Sciberras. We see an enormous amount of talent and opportunity for Blake to consistently be at the pointy end of this field all year. With Blake only debuting half way through the last year’s season and to set the lap record in the last round just proves he will be a force to be reckoned with. We look forward to the 2016 race season and can’t wait for round 1 in Adelaide. “

The 2016 Aussie racing car series kicks off at the Adelaide Clipsal 500 on March 2nd.
