David Sultana has made the jump to a slightly bigger pocket rocket, from Karts to a Toyota Aurion Aussie Racing Car, “it’s quite a bit different from my Karting experience, I guess the biggest change is the lack of vision, they do handle a bit the same though, it’s not like I had to re-learn to drive” said Sultana recently.
After 15 years spent in Karting David has decided to give the Aussie Cars ago for the full 2016 season. When asked what his goals for the Clipsal 500 were his response was to be amongst the quickest of the large Rookie contingent.
The New South Welshman has had a couple of test days in his new car at Wakefield Park, the Aurion is an ex James Abela car. “I wouldn’t be on the track this year without the amazing support of my sponsors including Newline Transport, Riverview Landscapes, Coldy’s Towbars & Bullbars (locally known as Coldy’s), Largo Quality Smallgoods and Diesel Finance, they have just been fantastic and I cannot wait to get their names out there on the 41 car Grid at Clipsal” commented Sultana.
