2010 Series Schedule Released
15 Feb 2010
The 2010 Aussie Racing Car Super Series will travel far and wide in 2010 in order to bring Australia's most exciting category to a wider audience in 2010.
Starting at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide has become a tradition for the Aussie Racing Cars, bring their fast-paced action to the concrete canyon that is the Adelaide Parklands circuit. With a whole season ahead the drivers of the 'pocket rockets' are all looking to push the envelope in the first round in an attempt to get the upper hand in the series points.
Darwin is the next stop with the Aussie Racing Cars not racing at the popular circuit for a few years but there is no doubt they left an impression last time with the locals.
The nature of the circuit and the relaxed atmosphere of the locals will no doubt make it a meeting to remember.
Queensland Raceway features twice in the series this year with round 3 and 5 at the 'giant paperclip' circuit, strong performances here could make or break the series for any one driver.
The Super Series will join the GT Tourist at Phillip Island for round 4 in July. With the performance of the pocket rockets in the final round last year at the high speed circuit impressing all who saw, there will no doubt be a bumper driver line up for this event which utilises the 'Bathurst Aero Kits' to produce high speed slip streaming and braking maneuvers.
Eastern Creek is the venue for the penultimate round of the series as the Aussie Racing Cars share the track with the Muscle Car Masters.
A step back in time will see the drivers tested on one of the most popular circuits of the past for their final round, Queensland's Lakeside Raceway. A circuit that no doubt few competitors have driven will decide who is crowned the 2010 Aussie Racing cars Super Series Champion. |
