The entire FW1 Aussie Racing Car field has been loaded onto three b-double trucks for the trip to Townsville for round 4 of the National Series to be held in conjunction with the V8 Supercars on 6 – 8 July 2012.  ARC has teams located all over the country and given the long distance to Townsville means that many teams have trusted Mark Griffith of Griffith Transport to get their cars to Townsville for the event.  Griffith Transport operate a fleet of semi’s out of Brisbane with daily trips to Townsville so they are the perfect transport company to help deliver the Sydney and Brisbane based Aussie Racing Cars for the event.

lafemmetransporter_smallKosi Kalaitzidis, team principal of the La Femme Academy of Motorsport has recently taken delivery of his 48 foot semi trailer a head of this weekends event and being a Melbourne based team, the La Femme transporter will be utilised to transport the southern based ARC teams north to Townsville.  The impressive trailer is fitted out specifically for Aussie Racing Cars with a unique hoist system installed inside the trailer to lift cars up to the second level.

The three ARC transporters are expected to arrive in Townsville on Wednesday this week and will be on track from Friday for Practice and Qualifying ahead of 4 races over Saturday and Sunday.  Race 4, the double points final will be televised live as part of the V8 Supercars Telecast on Sunday.
